A new article in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research suggests that drinking low-fat chocolate milk after a workout helps endurance, builds muscle, reduces fat, and seems to improve performance. The chocolate milk apparently has the right protein:carb ratio (11.5 grams of carbohydrates per 100 milliliters, 3.5 grams of protein, and 2 grams of fat). Frankly, I think it would be rude not to try it! ;D |

Ironically, Ros, I sat through a nutrition clinic Saturday for our TNT team; the nutritionist who lead the session suggested this very thing. I have been considering adding this into the regimen :-)

I suppose the health benefits of chocolate cake are too much to hope for. If only, Meguro, if only!  I found a chocolate milk in the supermarket last night with the right balance of protein, carb and fat which was also on offer. Bargain. The trouble is it tastes so nice that it's difficult to restrict yourself to a couple of mouthfuls. It was easier when I read that the whole bottle was over 300 calories.  ;D |

Monty, what's wrong with you? Meguro --I think if you ingest the cake and then take a big swig of milk, you might come out even (ok, probably not, but you may enjoy it just as much, if not more ) OSU! |

Chocolate milk helps me with weight loss, it triggers my ibs and gives a good clear out, looks the same coming out too just seems to be a lot more of it than I drank Bet that chicken sandwich looks like a better option now ;D |
