March 7th is the 1 year anniversary of Knockdown Fighters dot com!
I am happy we have such a great group here.

Yay I purchased this domain for at least another 3 years so it won't be going anywhere, anytime soon . If this forum gets more members, more active, I promise you, there will be more stuff...bells and whistles on it. With that being said, if you have an iOS or droid smart phone, the proboards app for this forum is pretty sweet. I often times get on here from work, when I'm on the toilet, etc. with that app  Happy early Birthday to KDfighters.com! Osu! |

I know many others of you would have done the same thing, was just a matter of timing. We really have had to do hardly any "mod" duties on this forum. Don't worry, I think our boundaries are quite wide, Gimptron! To answer your question, I think this forum was started for the same reason any forum is started I suppose; as a means to discuss all aspects of a shared interest, to provide support/advice/arguments/general chit chat* as necessary in an environment that the forum members like to be in. *delete as appropriate |

Yes as Ros said. We felt the need for a forum dedicated to Knockdown Karate in all its forms under an open banner.

KDF was started just to have an open forum to discuss knockdown karate, and other martial arts. A forum where it's okay to disagree with each other, as long as you do it with respect. A true friend voices their opinion, even if they disagree. Feel free to disagree with me, but expect me to probably say why I agree to disagree . I don't always agree with the moderators/admin on here, and they don't always agree with me LOL. However, I don't believe any of us lose any sleep over it, we have a pretty democratic way of discussing things. Osu! |
