Extremely good I'd say ...
But at the moment very few have asked for one, so unless it's very easy to set up for print-on-demand it's not likely to happen.

Looking at 'print on demand' but not self publishing. It looks great when you look on Amazon and it says 'number 4 in martial arts' but so far I've not sold hundreds of copies ...
Sorry!
Gary
PS easy to get a kindle app though :-)

5.0 out of 5 stars The secrets of Karate revealed..., 27 May 2013 By G. Mulholland (London) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME) Amazon Verified Purchase(What is this?) This review is from: The Way of Knockdown (Kindle Edition) A great many books claim to teach the 'secrets' of karate, or indeed of success in general. Most fail. This book from Gary Chamberlain however, hits the nail square on the head. The secret of karate is hard work. Hard work, pain, sweat and facing fear and that's what I loved about this book. In many ways it is a simple account, and I was left wanting more detail in places, and specifically on the fights. But on reflection, i realised that the book's simplicity is its true genius. This is a book for all of us; it's for anyone who ever thought they couldn't do it; for everyone who ever thought that success is complicated; and for anyone who ever wanted to be more than others believed them to be. If I had read this book before I started karate, I would have joined the Kyokushinkai...
Wow! Praise indeed!

The very man! I hoped when I wrote it that it would promote Kyokushin and all the comments I've had do just that.

Finally got around to reading the book today. Really enjoyed it only took me the afternoon to read. Haven't had time with study taking up all of my reading besides the newspaper. I personal got a lot out of it Gary and thank you for taking the time not only to write it but also to make it available for me to read it.

On the basis of wanting to read the book, I caved in a got a Kindle! Cracking read, really enjoyed it! And a signed hardcopy will be a welcome addition to my karate/ma library ;-)
Just one question
When is the follow up book coming out then Gary huh?!?
I reckon there is a second book in you, covering your 'life' after the BKK with Enshin etc
:-)

I've already done the Charnwood years (BKK) and the Enshin years. Still in progress ...
But lots have asked about a coaching book so that might be an option. Not that I have any 'secrets' other than caring for your students and encouraging them to exceed their perceived limitations.
We'll see.
