So much has changed from the Thrift store banking days. I was a teller and personal banker during those times. Anyone could walk in and open an account. I fear banks are changing for the worst.
Service for the selected few.

I have had students ask for discounts and have given some based on financial need. I have also created payment plans for some based on financial need. I would definitely collect the bank fees too. I am going to add the returned check fee to my dojo's literature as well--haven't needed it in our 4 years open so far. But it's good to be proactive.

I've had it times, along with all the puzzled expressions and the "I can't understand it, there's plenty in the account" blah blah blah I let anyone make one mistake - although they have to pay any charges my bank charges me - but if they do it twice, that's just taking the p***. They're out. Gary Solid post!! I'm with Gary on this one all the way. Mistakes happen, but after that, expulsion is warranted!!
