I'll be there, but just to watch. Medguy, Seattle, and myself have competed in this over the years. Osu!

Yeah, after a 12 year lay off from competition it was fun to be back for that day. Hard to believe it has been 2 years already! I sowed the oats, so to speak, so off to new ventures--namely teaching the newbies.

Think I am going to give it one more go. I was going to have my students compete for me, but he got sucked into traveling for work for the last 3 weeks. Therefore I need to represent the seniors! Should give my dojo a competitor in all the male divisions and 1 junior.
Hope we come back with a sweep. If not, we will still work on drinking all the beer after.

In December (5th I think) there will be Kyokushin Ring Wars, in Rochester NY. Match fights, 3 rounds 2 minutes. Kyokushin rules and a second division with Enshin type rules. Hosted by Muteki Kyokushin. www.mutekikyokushin.com/

It was a pretty good touranment. My dojo received 3rd for mens lightweight, 1st Heavy and I got 3rd in seniors. All my fighters placed and fought well.
And I worked all night on the beer! Got a nice cut over the eye on an accidental head butt.
