I am very pleased to announce that the Martial Arts Studio Whitstable will open its doors officially in the New Year.
The address is: Unit 65, John Wilson Industrial Estate, WHITSTABLE, KENT CT5 3PS
We are doing a couple of special classes over Christmas but most of Christmas will be taken up moving and laying mats and generally sorting the place out.
We will have a Facebook page and web site with full details of the time table but in short, to start we have the following sessions planned:
Monday Night - Krav Maga
Tuesday Night - Kyokushin split into three groups, children, youth and adults.
Wednesday Night - Kyokushin split into three groups, children, youth and adults.
Thursday Night - Kyokushin split into three groups, children, youth and adults - mostly focused on Knockdown
Friday Night will be quite special but I can't say too much yet.
Sunday AM will be the Open knockdown training.
Outside of this there will be the availability for people to rent the bag room, have private lessons in many different aspects of martial arts be it fitness or self-protection or rent the space for any other form of fitness or martial art - the whole point of the studio is to be a well-managed and safe place for people to come together and train not just be a Karate Dojo hence the name.
We are also looking to put on regular Saturday Seminars again covering all aspects of the martial arts, we have already had some provisional chats with various people, some who are members here and will keep you all posted.
PS: Need some ideas for a logo ;D
