Very nice, beautiful display of knockdown fighting in the octagon. I don't know why he is fighting at heavyweight, at 218 lbs he could easily cut to 205 and not have to give up so much size. It had no effect here but with higher level competition it most likely will.

I was thinking the same Jared. Could it be the amount of pure strikers in the HW vs. amount of wresters in LHW division? He could probably make it to 185.

It had no effect here but with higher level competition it most likely will. True, it could definitely ruin his day going against a more highly skilled 6-5, 241lb opponent. And as you mentioned it wouldn't even take much for him to drop down a class, and could quite possibly catapult his career to that of MMA elite'ville, in due time.
