I have mentioned a few times being a bouncer in the past but something I do every now and then is offer security consultation services to businesses, armed protection and body guard work to clients. In fact, I am doing so this Saturday for somebody that needs protection. For whatever reason; I have had more requests for this kind of work in the past year and it seems to have increased exponentially this past month.
A few days back I offered security consolation services to a business that is around 100 years old in Seattle due to an employee the business owner is afraid to fire! I can't go into details but lets just say I was first expecting this to be a brand new business because of only initially knowing it had to do with a current employee.
I bring all of this up because it seems in my experience that most people are afraid once a type of altercation or harassment starts that they can't simply walk away from which is rather obvious but it also seems like this is becoming more and more frequent compared to just 5 years ago! Now, I don't do any of this work for a living and am very choosy about who I do these services for so I'm not what I would say is somebody that has done this full time in years.
Is this the sign of times to come; are people growing more passive aggressive?! I was hired not long ago to protect a 23 year old male in moving because his meth addict sister and meth dealing boyfriend wanted to continue living with the 23 year old who was moving so the father hired me. It was the dumbest dumbest dumbest...thing ever when I saw the "meth dealer." He did a u turn and left when he saw me watching the 23 year old and father move his stuff. No words needed to be exchanged, nothing.
I also occasionally work for a friend in serving people court subpoenas LOL! That's actually pretty fun and you may call me a jerk but I have bills to pay!
Osu!
