This just in! I was looking around at Title mma last night and noticed that they have a new product. They are now offering a big mitt. Actually they are selling 3 types. All are very similar and much cheaper than Winning brand. Here is the link. www.titlemma.com/p_ASHLD+BK.aspxOsu!

I tried to purchase one from a UK company last summer..paid and everything. Never came, emails never returned so had to call them up to be refunded because the shipping would have cost too much for them. Which I totally understand but would have been nice if they would have not accepted the money and told me in a timely manner. Title, however, shipping is about $30, not bad ! I don't see any significant difference between the 3 types title is offering. Does anybody else? I'll be purchasing one soon and will do a review on it and if it's good I'll be buying another one. PO1, I see no difference in the 3. The one from fightingsports looks a little bigger, but the dimensions are the same.
The only difference I can tell between the 2 title brand ones is that one has the normal Title logo and the other has MMA written in big red letters across the side.
I'll be getting the regular Title logo one. ;D I already have one from Lotus club that I brought back from Japan. I like the Title version better, because they have the slits that come up head high. This will allow for head kicks. Doesn't do me much good, but definitely wil be useful for our other knockdown fighters.

Oh, the fun I would have taunting the senpai in Enshin with one of those. Finally I would be free of the stingy reprimands of their shins.

Just ordered the Title big mitt, decided not to pay $10 extra for the fighting one or have "MMA" printed on it LOL!
I also ordered a Twins leather shield for gedan mawashi geri...the Thai style leather shields hold up to years of abuse!
BTW, Until August 31 if you enter in "TWENTY" on titlemma.com you get 20% off! I saved about $71 on my order entering this code! Osu!

Received an email from Title this morning and I was thinking "ruh roh" but called them to find out they have a policy not to send items to a shipping address unless it's on your card as an alternate address. I normally have stuff sent to my Dad's house, not my apartment. Title is the first company I've ran into with this policy. Just a heads up if any of you do the same..it's weird that Title gives the option to do that without some word of their policy before you do.
I was told to expect my stuff in 3-4 business days and they're shipping it out today! Very quick considering I chose the cheapest shipping! Osu!

100 lbs? Damn! Let me know how heavy it is once you put it on. The one I have doesn't evern weigh 20 lbs... I'm just curious how much of the weight is in packaging material.

This is really only like 30-40 pounds, if that..I don't know why UPS was saying "100 pounds"! It is big though, has a very strong "gas"/plastic smell to it I'm going to try to get rid of tomorrow. I think it's the plastic tarp/packaging they used to ship it in. I'm not going to really get to break it in until Wednesday . I've worn it around by myself in my apartment a bit pretty impressed with the quality and size, especially for the price! About $30 USD for shipping but right now with that "twenty" code it gets rid of that shipping...funny thing is on titleboxing.com Milkman showed me today they have it on sale for $119.99 but the "twenty" code only works on titlemma. You also need to play with the twenty code. I saw it briefly not work on another order I placed today (had to order those hayabusa gloves!, a new gym bag (great price) and a sweet "spec ops" shirt to help out wounded warriors) but on the "review order" portion of the check out I caught it and just clicked on "cart" again and quickly went through the check out applying the code again and it "stuck" that time. So, what I'm saying is make sure that "twenty" code "sticks" before you really confirm your order on the check out! It's supposed to be good until August 31st!!! If anybody needs a big mitt, or another one in the USA I really don't think you'll find a better price for a new one unless it's stolen! It's the one on the right in case you didn't know I tried to take a pic with my iPhone while wearing it, but didn't work out! Osu!

Squirted the Title Big Mitt down with an adequate amount of "Tropical" Frebreeze seems to have gotten the very strong vinyl/plastic/almost gasoline smell out. Was so strong yesterday that I couldn't keep it in my bedroom while I slept, had to put it in my spare room. Going to test it out tomorrow, maybe snap a few pics ! Osu!

Found a huge design flaw with this big mitt . There are two quick release clips on the bottom that come unsnapped very easily. I was holding this for Alex (Seattle's student) and Alex held for me. We experimented with 3-4 different ways of having slack, not having slack on the bottom straps and no matter what we did the straps would come undone. Possible good news is we came up with an idea but didn't have duct tape on us to try it out. We have a few of them but the best one that won't perminately alter the product is using duct tape to keep the tension before the quick releases will unsnap. If it works I'll take pictures to show what I did. I will also be emailing Title to tell them how they need to improve this product. It wouldn't be an expensive fix on future products. If this fixes it, I'll be happy but you kind of need those bottom straps unless you plan on just holding it up which I guess you could do but it's nice to have the shoulder pads and be strapped into it! I did get some use out of it and rather enjoyed it ! If you haven't held a big mitt yet, or had somebody hold one for you I highly suggest giving it a go! Osu!
