I haven't been looking too often since I don't buy black belts often but noticed choke sports "second" website that was for Kyokushin gear bushidosports.com is now no more and you go back to www.chokesports.com to order Kyokushin (Isami brand) dogi, obi, etc. I have found where to get the "Kyokushin" Isami black belts, if you're interested, message me, and I can get you the info and tell you what steps you need to take. I at first was going to post this but figured it better not to, because it may not be something that certain powers want advertised I wasn't told not to give the info out, just using my judgement right now. Osu!

I am interested only to hear about the semantics (pm please), not that I would ever buy an Isami black belt that had "kyokushin" on it due to lack of qualification.
I had to purchase my SKIF shodan belt from Tokkaido and they didn't ask for any paperwork at all which I thought was funny.

I did see a guy in Japan once buying himself a black belt. Also I guy I also did Aikido with bought a black belt with his name on it whilst he was a 3rd kyu. He said it was his motivation to keep going. Almost22 months later he is only a 2nd kyu.

My point of posting this was just an info on chokesports/bushidosports, because here in the USA for most, they are the only way to get Isami brand stuff, especially obi. I already told sotacram privately I'll be a bit choosy who I give this info out, too, because of what you just described, I don't want that happening! I also don't want to burn any opportunities for any of my students in the future. That info being, where and how to get an Isami Kyokushin obi Osu!

I noticed that Isami belts now also have a "Made in Japan" label sewn on the "kanji side." Anybody else notice this? I own a few Isami belts, and my newest belt (which I'm sure I will have for maaaaaaaaany years) has this label on it...and like usual, the kanku label, too. Osu!
