I inquired about placing an order with Goods Karate and they are requesting I pay via Western Union or Moneygram. Is that typical for them? I want to make sure I'm not getting duped.

Powerofone or Senshido have ordered from them. Hopefully they can help you.

This is normal, paypal is not available in pakistan, but I have used them many times with no problems, beware though of other companies, I have also lost a small amount of money trying to buy from another supplier in Pakistan

I second what Senshido is saying. I was a bit nervous but have placed 3 or 4 orders with them for myself and/or students. I do recommend to order at least 3-4 dogi, to make it worth it. Ordering just one dogi isn't worth it, due to the cost of shipping. In fact, I'm not sure if it would cost much more to ship to Guam, Kurisu? If so, you may want to order at least 5-6. One time I ordered from them and actually got a free dogi, as a "sample" which was a very nice gesture. It also made me trust Moman that much more. The free sample I received, is actually my favorite one, too...it's a non-bleached one . Osu!

It looks like the gold dan bars go all the way around? Which is very good, and one of the main reasons why I have gone through Isami. Let me know what you think of the belt, and for the price you paid because I know a picture doesn't really gives us the whole story. I'm sure what you paid was far cheaper than you would have to Isami! It looks better than other belts I have seen ordered from Pakistan, and to be honest, better than I was expecting! Osu!

Osu! the stripes do go all the way round as you can see in the new pictures, I am very impressed with the quality, the belt itself is $35 + shipping, way cheaper than the "big brands" I asked for a total cost for purchasing 1 belt + shipping (as this was part of another order) and the shipping for a single item is $40, so a total of $75 for one belt.

Less than half the price of what my recent Isami obi cost. Do my eyes deceive me, is this the font and calligraphy you had made on the belts, too? Down the road, this is an option I'll seriously consider for students....especially if I ever promote a child to "jr." shodan-nidan, etc. No sense in buying a top name brand obi for someone that will quickly outgrow it. Osu!
