Okay, as many of you know, I am no longer with the KSK, as we are now part of the IKKU, as a further development I have changed the name of the Kyokushin Karate Scotland web site.... my explanation as follows: Caledonia is the name given by the Romans to the land in today's Scotland north of their province of Britannia, beyond the frontier of their empire. The land they were unable to conquer. The original use of the name, referred to the area (or parts of the area) also known as Pictavia or Pictland north of Hadrian's Wall in today's Scotland. The name is related to that of a large and dominant Pictish tribe, the Caledonii. To keep the peace among the tribes north of the wall, the Kyokushin Karate Scotland website has changed its name to “Caledonia Kyokushin”. The site is still accessible using the original address www.kskscotland.com but is now also accessible using www.caledoniakyokushin.com
