War Machine faces seven arrest warrants for alleged Christy Mack attack By MMA Fighting Newswire on Aug 12 2014, 11:52a 63
Seven arrest warrants have been issued for the capture of War Machine, the recently released Bellator welterweight formerly known as Jonathan Koppenhaver, in regards to the alleged brutal assault of ex-girlfriend Christy Mack, representatives of the Las Vegas Police Department (LVPD) confirmed to MMAFighting.com on Tuesday. The warrants read as following: •1 count battery resulting in substantial bodily harm •1 count battery by strangulation •2 counts battery with substantial bodily harm •1 count open and gross lewdness •1 count assault with deadly weapon •1 count coercion/threat with force According to a statement made by Mack on Monday, Machine allegedly broke into her house in the early hours Friday, August 8th, assaulted an unnamed victim, then viciously beat Mack, resulting in a litany of injuries that included 18 broken bones, several missing or broken teeth, and a ruptured liver. Representatives from the LVPD confirmed to MMAFighting.com on Monday that Machine is currently wanted as the "primary suspect" of an alleged incident that occurred at approximately 4 a.m. on Friday, August 8, in which two victims suffered "severe but non-life threatening injuries." As of this writing, Machine is still at large. -
So let me get this straight:
18 broken bones Several broken and/or missing teeth And a ruptured liver
..all most likely just because she was knockin' boots with someone else other than him. (possibly the 'unnamed victim'?)
Really hope they catch this fella soon.

Call me a pessimist but I'm a bit concerned
Dog the Bounty Hunter?
Pursuing this guy??
His most potent weapon is what, his pepper spray if I'm not mistaken?
What's he going to do if War Machine charges blindly through that pepper spray and pile drives him into the pavement?
Dog's son and wife are going to jump in and save the day?
I think they may be making a mistake to let ol' Dog handle this lol. And what if Machine is actually armed like most young rich American males are these days ..things could
turn bad in a hurry *whew

The main alleged victim of this brutal assault, Christy Mack, has released photos of the aftermath of her beating at the hands of ex-boyfriend and former Bellator MMA fighter War Jon K. Machine, along with a detailed description of the events leading up to the assault.
Before..
After..
Below is the story published at The Washington Post of what happened to her, in her words:
At about 2 am Friday morning, Jon Koppenhaver arrived unannounced to my home in Las Vegas, NV. After he broke up with me in May, he moved out of my house and back to San Diego.
When he arrived, he found myself and one other fully clothed and unarmed in the house. Without a single word spoken, he began beating my friend; once he was finished, he sent my friend away and turned his attention to me.
He made me undress and shower in front of him, then dragged me out and beat my face. I have no recollection of how many times I was hit, I just know my injuries that resulted from my beating. My injuries include 18 broken bones around my eyes, my nose is broken in 2 places, I am missing teeth and several more are broken. I am unable to chew, or see out of my left eye. My speach is slurred from my swelling and lack of teeth. I have a fractured rib and severely ruptured liver from a kick to my side. My leg is so badly injured I have not been able to walk on my own.
I also attained several lesions from a knife he got from my kitchen. He pushed the knife into me in some areas such as my hand, ear, and head. He also sawed much of my hair off with this dull knife. After some time, the knife broke off of the handle and continued to threaten me with the blade. I believed I was going to die. He has beaten me many times before, but never this badly.
He took my phone and canceled all of my plans for the following week to make sure no one could worry about my whereabouts. He told me he was going to rape me … After another hit or two, he left me on the floor bleeding and shaking, holding my side from the pain of my rib. He left the room and went to the kitchen where I could hear him ruffling through my drawers. Assuming he was finding a sharper, more stable knife to end my life, I ran out my back door, shutting it behind me so the dogs didn’t run inside tot ip him off. I hopped the fence to the golf course behind my house and ran to a neighboring house. Naked and afraid he would catch me, I kept running through the neighborhood knocking on doors. Finally, one answered and I was brought to the hospital and treated for my injuries. -

War Machine: 'If Dog the Bounty Hunter came to get me I'd beat his ass!' By Nate Wilcox@kidnate on Aug 13 2014, 12:22a 129 Four years ago Jon "War Machine" Koppenhaver tweeted what was presumably an idle threat against Duane Chapman aka Dog the Bounty Hunter. Now the Dog is on the hunt for War Machine. No, War Machine didn't invent a time machine, nor does he have psychic future predicting abilities, but apparently the convicted felon and current fugitive from justice had a feeling four-and-a-half years ago that this day would come and he'd find himself in the cross-hairs of America's most famous bounty hunter, Duane "Dog" Chapman. Yes, earlier today Chapman announced that he was on the hunt for the former Jon Koppenhaver, a former UFC and Bellator fighter, who's wanted on 7 warrants by the Las Vegas police in a horrific assault against his ex, Christy Mack. Someone remembered this tweet from four years ago and unearthed it and sent it along: War Machine ✔ @warmachine170 Follow "If Dog the Bounty Hunter came to get me I'd beat his ass!"12:35 AM - 11 Mar 2010 634 Retweets 351 favorites The Dog has been warned, but I doubt he's especially worried. He does, after all, hunt humans for a living and he's not looking to have a fair fight. Something also tells me that War Machine is far from the smartest or most dangerous criminal Dog has brought to heel. - " ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wow. The irony of tweeting something like that 4 1/2 years ago.. only to find it coming true today. Not sure where the author is getting his/her info from in regards to Dog, though... He's(Dog) hunted far more dangerous criminals? Not. From what I've observed over the years he only takes very low profile/low danger cases, cases where the criminal is most likely not going to be armed. Petty crimes and parole violators, is Dog's thing. And that's no slight against him, just wondering where the author is getting the impression that Dog hunts "dangerous" criminals. But I've read some recent tweets from Dog and Beth as well and they seem fairly confident: Duane Dog Chapman ✔ @dogbountyhunter Follow #CMTDogAndBeth @warmachine170 " Time is up ! BEWARE OF THE DOG..."1:00 AM - 13 Aug 2014 2,528 Retweets 1,906 favorites Duane Dog Chapman ✔ @dogbountyhunter Follow #CMTDogAndBeth " Fe Fi Fo Fum #war machine 170 Come get you Some !!! #COWARD"12:09 PM - 13 Aug 2014 528 Retweets 597 favorites

They say there's two sides to every story, innocent until proven guilty, etc. I guess this is his "side of the story". War Machine's tweets immediately following the incident:

So what she was attacking him? Hard to believe really. I'm not sure where he was going with that. The guy seems slightly delusional, and that's not the first time that's been observed of him.

Got him! AP/August 16, 2014, 9:00 AM MMA fighter arrested in beating of ex-girlfriendCBS News/War Machine ArrestedLAS VEGAS -- Fugitive mixed martial arts fighter War Machine was arrested Friday in California on suspicion of beating his ex-girlfriend so severely in Las Vegas that she feared for her life. The 32-year-old fighter and former porn actor, whose birth name is Jon Koppenhaver, was captured in a hotel room in Simi Valley, a suburb northwest of Los Angeles where he once lived. Authorities issued a warrant for Koppenhaver on Monday, the same day his ex-girlfriend, adult film actress Christy Mack, posted graphic photos of her swollen, beaten face online. Mack said in a statement that Koppenhaver showed up unannounced at her house on Aug. 8, found her and a friend unarmed, and beat the friend without uttering a word. Koppenhaver then sent the friend away and turned to Mack, forcing her to shower before knocking out some of her teeth and breaking bones in her face, the statement said. She wrote that she feared for her life as he sawed off her hair with a dull knife. Mack said she managed to escape out a back door and run naked through her neighborhood, knocking on doors until someone helped her get to a hospital. Koppenhaver had been abusive in the past and broke up with her in May, she said. "After many months of fear and pressure to keep this man happy, I feel that I can no longer put myself in this situation," Mack wrote. Koppenhaver did not return a message Tuesday seeking comment about Mack's account, and it's not clear whether he has an attorney. The welterweight fighter made his Ultimate Fighting Championship debut in 2007. He lost his only pay-per-view bout in 2008 and went on to fight for a variety of promotions over the past five years. His criminal record includes a 2012 conviction for attempt to commit battery with substantial bodily harm. U.S. marshals said they worked with police and the Department of Homeland Security to capture Koppenhaver. He was booked into the Ventura County jail while he awaits extradition to Nevada. "This is yet another example of how our joint agency efforts are apprehending fugitives who think they can hide," District of Nevada U.S. Marshal Christopher Hoye said in a statement. -- © 2014 The Associated Press.
