As you can imagine, I was really disappointed. Now I've got to wait for a Haematology appointment so they can investigate the cause of the neutropaenia. In the meantime the shoulder seems to be getting worse, not better and I've got weeks of pain and not being able to do the things I want to do to look forward to. I'm also trying not to think of the worse things that can cause neutropaenia 'coz it's a bit scary! Gah!

You are a fighter Ros! set-backs wont keep you down! Yeah, I just need an almighty moan occasionally - Monty must be sick of it (I can hear him now "What do you mean, occasionally?")!

I am impressed by how you handled it yesterday Thinking back to my op I'd have been furious if they'd cancelled it at that stage. I think the surgeon was lucky you right arm is the one that's out of action, you might have deployed 'big right' on him

One day I'll have a backyard and a car to drive to homedepot. There I'll buy some pvc pipe and a heat gun and make me some bows like this guy, who proves that anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.

Today is Ros's (re-scheduled) shoulder operation.
I've just dropped her at the hospital, just got to wait for a call to tell me she's done then go and collect her.

Awesome. I hope this solves her issue there and she can move forward.

I dropped Ros at the hospital at 06:50, I got back there at 14:00, we got home at 19:00! The op was done with a Nerve block, Ros still can't feel/move her arm. Although we just did a test and I think feeling is back in the thumb
