Limited chances to post today as the middle one's caught chicken pox and is trying to tear himself to bits. We've been awake all night with him and he's just fallen asleep. Horrible to see him so uncomfortable Gary

Oooooohh sorry to hear that Gary, I hope the best for him! I remember when my oldest son got the chicken pox, I never seen anything like it, it was awfully scary.
Heading out to help one of my techs do an install at a clients. This tech has been with me for 9 years and refuses to learn how to sweat copper.......which for today is a great thing!!!! Gets me out of the office!!

I'm going online to find a new Laptop rucksack, why? I hear you ask. We let me tell you....... Got ready for work, left the house and Ros and I jumped into the car. "Can you smell cat p***?" Ros asked I'd just turned the reeds in two of our "Reed Defussers" so all I could smell was Lily & Vanilla so "No, you sure it's not my hands you can smell" Got to work, sat down, sniff sniff, now I can smell cat p***! Sniff sniff again, oh no it seems to have gone away. Must just be my imaginatioin. Went to sainsburys to buy my lunch, walking round, sniff sniff, I'm sure I can smell it. Sat down in the pub with my Coke(yes Ros, Coke) and I got a slight wiff of p***. I'm begining to get paranoid now, I know they couldn't have got to my clothes coz they hang up in the wardrobe! Get my note book out of the laptop rucksack, bloody hell that's p***y, stick my nose next to the laptop rucksack..... one of the boys had taken a leak right on it!

Today I have been asked to get involved with helping to sort out the Service centres wirless access points. Not my job but as the boss asked me to I thought I'd better show willing(as I'm gonna try and tap him up for a lieu day in April). Yesterday I was asked by one of the Health and Safety bods if I could get him a power supply for an HP laptop. Again, not really my job but if there is anyone you want to keep "on side" it's health and safety. It does all link together eventually, so keep reading.... To sort out the AP I needed to go into the comms cabinet, in the room with the comms cabinet was a box of IT junk, In said box of junk was a HP Laptop power supply (health and safety man sorted) I managed to find the power injector for the Access Point and sucessfully brought the Wifi back to life (Service centre, Network guys & Boss all happy) Funny thing is, The comms cabinet is in the same office as the Health and Safety blokes desk

OSU Gary, that's just awful! I got chicken pox in kindergarten. I got really sick and refused to eat anything but pomegranates, because I had been to a friend's house and she'd shared one with me.
You know the phrase "poor as a churchmouse?" Well I'm a pastor's daughter. Mom was just getting her career started teaching disabled kids, and dad was a relatively new pastor. We lived in Newport Beach for that school year (and left as soon as it was over, ugh, such a horribly racist place in the 1980s) which was an incredibly rich and snotty area.
Mom, bless her heart, went to the local snotty trendy rich people store, because it was the only place around at that time which carried pomegranates. Full of "beige people" in their little tennis outfits, all sneering at her, and the security guard followed her around. She got me my pomegranates though! Bless her heart.
Yesterday I went to the dojo, worked out so hard I was drenched in sweat. I wanted to do even more, but my hip wouldn't allow it, and Shihan made sure to insist before class that I work hard at not injuring myself further. I have a bad habit of pushing myself through pain when I should not. Class went well but after I found out that Sensei (Ashigeru) had lost his new job. Awful!
I still wish there were more things that could be fixed in life by punching them. :/
Today I have eaten... I was going to go see my horse, but no money to get to him, as he is an hour and a half away over a toll bridge.

Got back home a few hours ago, a year older and 3kG's older than when I left three days ago! this not being able to train is not going to be easy, going to hit the bike and go for a swim tomorrow. I know a lot of the weight is wine, 5 bottles in 3 days will have added a lot of water.
