...chest didn't really come to me until I was about 25-26 LOL. I got mine when I was about 11. ;D Good luck with the sweating, BTW.

Oops I put on a pound this week. It doesn't surprise me as my quest to reduce the sugar has been scuppered by copious swigs of Covonia and the odd Strepsil. What started as a niggly sore throat and tight chest has turned into full-blown something horrible. I'll get back on track both training and eating wise as soon as I can breathe again.

Sorry to hear you're not well. Take it easy for a while. Thanks Ros. It's giving me time to catch up on a few writing projects and I'll ease myself back into training at the weekend.

So Scottish Tourney is in 2 days and I was due to take part, training stalled due to accident a couple of months back but kept up the weight loss. Was 78kG on the 30th of Jan 71 Today so 7kG (15lb loss) in 10 weeks. feel good and looking forward now to being able to get the physio for my back out of the way and focus on the tools I need for fighting rather than weight loss.

AMEN! BMI is so inaccurate. According to BMI I am obese even though I wear a size 34' pant......
BMI does not take into consideration muscle.
The most important measurements are your cholesterol, LDL, HDL, and how your clothes are fitting.
Inches > lbs/kilos any day.
Unless you are a competitive fighter trying to maintain a certain weight class.

AMEN! BMI is so inaccurate. It does only take into account height and weight, rather than muscle mass, but for most people it gives a reasonable idea. Like everything, it needs using with a good dose of common sense.

Dagnabbit, a pound on! Well, I think that will be down to breakfasts in Edinburgh. Also, I have managed to resist naughty food this week - by eating far too much healthy stuff!

I'm afraid to get on the scales after Edinburgh. How much does 3 gallons if beer weigh?
