It doesn't work too well in knockdown. It reminds me of a guy who tried to make it in K-1, his name escapes me. He wore a yellow track suit like Bruce Lee and got bashed up for trying that side stance business. Too funny. I remember, it was a K-1 Max card, the same card that Genki Sudo did a "donkey kick" from one of the ring posts. Shoot, I think it was back in 02-03? He just got tagged with leg kicks repeatedly . Osu!

Japanese MMA needs more Genki Sudo.... wish he would hurry up and get his head out of his 4th dimension.
His bad ass shirt is on sale again on his nekostore, but I don't think they ship to the US. I've always wanted that shirt.....

Gained Japanese pop culture cred with my kids when I showed them the artist side of Genki Sudo.

I've always wanted that shirt..... I forgot why he retired but I think it was some sort of back injury that's reoccurring for him? I think he'll do fine going the Nicholas Pettas route of training people, being in tv, movies, music, etc. Except I don't think Pettas has done music...yet? Osu!

I did not recognize Genki in his music videos when I first watched them. Those are so cool....
I would like to hear Sensei Pettas and Bas Rutten do color commentary for Kyokushin/Knockdown events.
HA!! Miles better than Goldberg/Rogan
