I'm posting a link for a style I trained in while in my teens for a few years. It was the only "aiki" style I found that seemed "real" to me. Hopefully I will have the chance to train in the style again. I don't talk about it much but there was a period in my life where I hoped to become the next "Steven Seagal", even visiting other Aikido dojo all around a 2 hour drive radius as soon as I had a car and a license. All of them were too damn compliant and un-real for my personal liking However, years ago I corresponded with Neil Yamamoto (now heir of Icho ryu Aikijujitsu) who's mentioned in this article and I think many of you on here would like his down to earth approach. He is or was a regular poster on e-budo.com. Neil was also one of the sponsors of Jon Bluming to come to Seattle some years ago to give you guys an idea that he's not your typical "Aikido" practitioner. This article is about Bernie Lau, the founder of icho ryu but a very, very interesting read that just seems very surreal to me. Osu! ejmas.com/jcs/jcsart_svinth_1101.htm
