I've had trouble with my right shoulder since a car accident a few years ago, in normal use punching, shoulder press, etc its fine but push ups have been really painfull but i've just discovered having my feet raised to the same level as my shoulders or above is pain free. Weird!
Do any of you have anything similar?

Interesting. I have heard from numerous people that Turkish Get Ups help shoulder problems. Maybe you could try that. www.bodybuilding.com/fun/turkish_get_up_training.htmYou can do it with dumb bells, barbell or kettle bells. I have been doing that lately and they are an ass kicker. Osu!

When I saw "weird" in the work out section and saw that MMX was the last one to post I was just thinking "Dear God, no picture of Mike in purple spandex pants..". Great suggestion by MMX, that is weird to me, too Wullie but I know my Dad has a weird arm and shoulder condition. So weird that when he helped me move a couch 6 months back for him to "rest" means to just stop and keep holding it in the air. It would hurt him more to lay the couch down on the ground...which also meant I had to continually hold it up in the air for a "rest"...meaning, I didn't want to do his version of "resting". LOL Osu!

Hi, wullie!
If you're doing shoulder presses the same way as a bodybuilder, you may want to change that, too. Do it the way powerlifters do it (not winging out your shoulders and elbows). And if you're still doing upright rows, you may want to swithc to high pulls instead.
Hope this helps.
