That's right, Nike is now officially sponsoring Anderson Silva! www.mixedmartialarts.com/news/341995/Anderson-Silva-signs-sponsorship-deal-with-Nike/Anderson Silva has been my favorite MMA fighter for a few years now. He's one of the very few fighters that I will watch, every time he fights. My interest over the years in MMA has gone down tremendously (for instance, I no longer make it a point to watch every UFC!) but whenever Anderson Silva is fighting, I watch! I'm glad he's getting this opportunity because I feel he deserves it but how many more years will he even still fight? I remember a year or two ago there were rumours he was only going to fight for another year. I can't fault a man for retiring, especially while he's on top. I guess we'll have to wait and see but I say a big congratulations to Anderson! Osu!

If he does keep fighting for a few more years I'm certain Nike's kicks will help him a lot more than Aikido's.

Fighters like him deserve all the big name sponsorship they can get! They're training just as hard, as other pro athletes, so why not? I'd rather watch Anderson Silva fight then watch a damn baseball game, any day!!!!!! Osu!
