Amazing how quickly the body adapts.
Did the TGU's and Swings again yesterday, exactly the same as last Friday, but hardly any stiffness this morning. (Easy tiger)

I am slowly bringing up the volume on my swings. I think I may go up to the 24kg bell in a month or two for TGU's though.

I was bleating on about everyone-has-to-pull-their-weight last night so here's the evidence that great training partners are worth their weight in gold (or biscuits)
For the last few Fridays I've been pushing my KB clean and jerks (long cycle) with a view to increasing my power/endurance. I set the timer for 30 seconds work then two minutes rest for eight sets amrap.
I trained with Paul today and although I thought I was working hard on my own I got at least one, sometimes two extra in every 30 second block.
Simply by having a training partner in the room whose only wish was to do better than me.
I love that spirit of competition and try my best to inject it into sessions.

Now are you doing the long cycle with 2 bells?
That is one of my goals to get to that.
IT sounds like a serious butt kicker and strength/endurance/mental builder.

2 x 24's today, made worse by the fact Paul was counting and wanting to beat my score.
I do 2 x 32's easy enough but not for amrap in a set time. At that weight I need to focus on skill more while with the 24's I can get away with a bit to put the numbers in.
It's quite tough.
As I posted above, you can practise on your own or train in a group, but there's nothing like having that bit of a competition with someone roughly the same strength. Paul is very focussed and determined so it adds a bit of spice.

Good one, Gary! I don't have a training partner, but with everyone's journal up for view it's almost like having everyone as a training partner. Not quite like having the competition breathing down your neck, but still motivating.

Not done them for a while (no excuses) and it felt like someone was trying to pull my arms apart.
