I'd just pick a couple - front / side splits for example - and use isometric stretches as in 'Stretching Scientifically'. (I'll lend you the book, copy what you need) There's a whole industry of crap advice out there over stretching. The biggest joke is people who think ROM is the be all and end all. The important thing is to be able to get impact on target before the opponent has time to react or counter. To do that obviously requires flexibility of a sort, but not the usual contortions we are urged to work on. The real requirement is muscles that can fire and move quickly within the required range of motion. Merely extending that range of motion is only a small part of the story. Gary Right. Pavel goes over that in his Book "Relax into Stretch" He also warns against ligament stretching.

Anyone ever try one of those leg stretching machines? My instructor has one and I've used it a few times but it never really seemed to give me much more of a stretch. I have been using my pulley again more recently which seems to be working out better for me though.
