Bench Press (135, 155, 175) 5/5/5 Dead Lift (160, 185, 210) 5/5/8 OH Press (80, 95, 105) 5/5/5 Squat (155, 180, 205) 5/5/7
Thinking about converting to a 2-day split to make room for more time on the bag and jump rope.

Your legs must be pretty balanced! I suffer from huge quad syndrome from too many squats in high school weight training. My squat is generally 25% more than my Deadlift. I am hoping the high dose of swings I am on will balance that out.

I feel like my quads are stronger than just my hamstrings. The swinging and OH pressing have definitely helped the strength in the posterior chain work as a unit. For that reason I prefer the deadlift to the squat now. TBH I am starting to hate the heavy barbell back squat as I feel that it only isolates the quadricep muscle. Thinking about adding in short ETK sessions inspired by your journal

Yeah I would rather Front Squat/Goblet Squat than Barbell Back Squat.
Since I am already a pretty big guy I dont need the back squat to gain more mass. That is pretty much the #1 reason to barbell back squat.

Thanks MMX. If I could get my OH press to equal those DL numbers...

You will get there! OH Press is tough. Maybe Grease it with some KB Clean and Press ladders..
My goal by Dec 2012 is to do Longcycle Clean and Jerks with (2) 24kg Kettlebells and to be Clean and Pressing the 32kg Kettlebell. :-)

Good goals!
Yeah the only way to improve is perfect practice; I will try to pick up some ladders here and there.

Thanks MMX. If I could get my OH press to equal those DL numbers... , That would be cool! I have not gotten to the point where my forearms like the sensation of kb's digging in as in the ohp or snatch.

I would be happy with pressing the Beast Yeah I sometimes that happens to me when I am pressing/snatching or even just holding the KB in the rack position. Sweat Wrist bands?

It only bothered me for a week or two and then my arms got use to it.

Bench Press (155, 175, 195) 5/3/2 Dead Lift (185, 210, 235) 5/3/5 OH Press (100, 110, 120) 5/3/2 Squat (180, 205, 230) 5/3/5
I think I will drop the overhead press down to 100 and continue to work on technique and proper firing of the glutes and lower back for stability. Attempt to hit consistent 5's before going further. It's much easier to press one KB/Dumbbell vs. two of equal weight.
Really shocked by the squat numbers, must have had a good day. I was expecting 3 or 4.
