To be honest, I strained my knee during one of the previous workouts. It is better now after some non/low-impact work. I held off on the running and substituted swimming when the problem arose. Glad it's not too serious.

Just finished running 6 miles and 45 minutes on heavybag doing a variety of kihon.
Additionally, I worked heavy on the arm sling to get a little more out of the abs and obliques.

Feel free to tell me to mind my own business, but that's a lot of doing the same thing.
Particularly if your knee is troubling you ...
Don't you vary your routine? Easier on the head if you do. Keeps you fresh.

I've always wanted to flip a tire, but I cannot find a place to store something like that.

Here's one from Graeme Obree:
"Training is bad for you. Training with good nutrition and adequate recovery is good for you".
(Of course, this assumes training is for measurable and sustainable results, not for 'spirit' or some such noble but unquantifiable objective, so common in MA)

We definatey don't want unquantifiable objectives... don't we? That's your call. A lot of people in MA wear themselves out for years in pursuit of 'spirit' only to find that when called upon the spirit is willing but the body is wrecked. We can train hard. We can train long. Hard to do both. Gary

37 years. Well done for longevity! As I posted earlier, how you train is your call. But you are of course on a public forum where people post their training logs for comment. Gary
