I don't know. It fell from favour (in the UK) as an event as people used a really exaggerated backward lean.
Still a worthy goal though. I remember the struggle I had jerking my bodyweight, so a strict MP with 2 x 40kgs is not in my immediate plans.

It also use to be part of GS but people found ways to "cheat" (probably the leaning!) so it was dropped just like the Olympics.
A body weight press for me is gonna be a long term goal for me. Real long. I am just about pressing the 24kg for 3 reps. Next is the 32kg. I weigh closer to 96kg(215-220 lbs on average) at a height of 6'

Confused... newest post says BW Military press a goal, not a requirement? It didn't seem that way in the initial wording. Lots of people asking about it apparently and it was clarified to 1/2 body weight TGU.
I am not sure what's worse. I can TGU ye ole 70# bell.
I'm just going to wait until they post there requirements, all this back talk and speculation is tiring.

Well to me that makes more sense. I mean to pass certification a BW Strict Press is gonna flunk a ton of people.

Right off the bat the price of their KB's are way way cheaper than DD. Nice. That is a good sign.

A few of them were endorsing Perform Better KB's recently which have a good rep. I would not be surprised if that is what these are.
Overall the site is very cool and not cheeky like the old place had become. Power to Pavel and his team. I look forward to learning from them.

I think it is an "open" forum.
I am sure this is temporary as there will be some fires to put out there soon I would assume..
No instructors in my area ...yet...
