...Well, not really, but I've been trying this frog series out for a few days now and I'm really liking how it feels during and how much looser my hips seem afterwards. No real appreciable improvement as of yet but I'm planning on doing this series 2-3 times throughout the day for a while and see how it helps.
The instructor is Jon Engum, Master RKC and Functional Movement Specialist, who is also a Tae Kwon Do instructor.

Nice find, thanks for sharing. Reminds me of gyaku seiza, which I like because it increases flexibility while developing strength in the adductors. Standing straddle stretches, which I did a lot of in my TKD days, is also good, much better than sitting and doing the straddle stretch. The less you use the arms for support (gyaku seiza and standing straddle stretch) the more you are forced to recruit the adductors. It becomes a PNF kind of stretch (contract/relax). I'll do some now.

Just as an update guys - as a little experiment I tried it last night after working my side split then proceeded to try my side split again. I actually panicked as I easily went past my sticking point and thought I was going to tear myself open. In reality I was fine and I was approximately a full inch deeper into the split. Pretty cool stuff.
