The older I get, the more I notice "coincidences," or by coincidence, they seem to happen, or just patterns. I'm not keen enough, to really make them work to my advantage, or predict anything. Case in example, this past Friday my new job that was working out great for school, with better pay, really screwed me over, I won't go into detail, but more or less just decided to cut my hours significantly, and thought I'd be cool with that, I quit on the spot... Called my old job, which is nontaxable and not by law, a real source of income (workstudy). Went to my mail right after that phone call, got an appointment to get another type of VA assistance, to pay for my Masters Degree, which I could only do if I was doing a workstudy, or no job at all. Wouldn't be allowed to have that kind of job with the previous job I just quit. Weird, how this all went down in a matter of minutes, huh? Like I said, life is funny, but in my experience, this "funny stuff" only seems to happen for ME, when I have my shit together, somewhat. Just wondering any observations, any of you that are older, and wiser than me, have noticed? Or those younger, same age, etc. I'm sure there are those of you that have had crazier stuff happen, than me. Sometimes, it's nice to sit back and recollect these weird happenings in life, at least it is for me...now, only if I could figure out the pattern and really cash in on it ! Osu!

Oh, I get the feeling that the universe is setting me up on a regular basis. I have a lot of luck, both good and bad, but somehow it manages to work out in the end. :}

There's some really interesting articles on coincidence and how we perceive it. We tend to think our own coincidences are much more striking than those of other people. We are apparently willing to accept that coincidences are bound to happen somewhere to someone, but are quite incredulous when they happen to us.
