I'm curious if the strike force cards are going to carry on separate (and possibly eventually merged like WEC) of if this is going to be the death of strike force like what happened to pride after Zuffa purchased it. However, not everybody in strikeforce is UFC quality but some definitely are.
On a kind of separate note is some of the strikeforce fighters are people that Dana White has said he won't do business with for various reasons..like Josh Barnett. Osu!

I watched Dana White's interview with Ariel Halwani, to sum it up for the time being Strikeforce and UFC will be seperate, Zuffa will improve production and advertising for Strikeforce and all contracts will be honoured, Scott Croker will still run Strikeforce the sentance used the most was "buisness as usual" there will be no Superfights or a Superbowl format with Champion vs Champion. what happens after contracts are up who knows?

I'm not surprised by Dana's comment, Rocket, but he also had similar comments with Pride so only time will tell what really happens IMHO. Osu!

I wouldn't be surprised if another company starts up and some of the fighters go there. They go for better conditions and pay. But if there is a new company formed I am sure UC will buy them out as well to keep their monopoly going.

Affliction tried this and I was very optimistic about this after the first Affliction fight card because it was one of the most stacked cards I have ever seen. However, when Barnett couldn't pass the drug test and the second affliction card went to crap they went belly under as as their own MMA org. A heavy hitter with some serious capitol is going to have to come in to really compete with the UFC (Zuffa). Osu!
