If it's important, do it every day. ~ Dan John
Pray, Eat, Breathe, telling someone you love them...
In relation to Karate and in particular solo training, if you had to strip it down to five movements/exercises/kihon/kata + any implement, what would it be?
IE 1.) Sanchin 2.) Kettlebell TGU 3.) Kettlebell Swing 4.) Tensho 5.) Heavy Bag/Makiwara
Try to keep it to a specific level: Yantsu vs. Kata Training or Mawashi Geri vs. Kihon Training.

hhmmm, this isnt as easy as I first thought, too much to choose from....
i) Sushiho ii) Push-ups iii) Dumbell hammer curls iv) Squats v) Sienchin
I think that the kata would vary from time to time

mmm, hard one. but I guess I'd go with: 1) Plank 2) Burpees 3) Tensho or a Pinan kata (Current favourite is Yon) 4) Heavy Bag / Sparing alternating 5) 1 Compound Strength exercise, Squats/ Bench Press/ Dead Lift/ OH Press alternating .....ok so that's more than 5 but I'd get bored and they kinda work don't they? PS I like this idea....
