All
As some of you are aware I've had a knee Operation to remove torn menicus and have been "out" for arround 2 years.
I've still been doing some but not to anywhere near what I was doing before the injury.
Now I need to get back to the level I was but how, I don't have a Sensei and only my students to train with etc.
Your guidance please
Thanks

Karate is unkind to knees, especially knockdown karate. Don't know what to say but if you are carrying extra weight, lose it so as to keep knee stress at a minimum. This will aid in mobility, which will in turn allow you to control position. A buddy of mine has a wonky knee, can't seiza at all. He stays out of trouble by being untouchable on the mat.
