What are the best stretching routines that you guys do to gain the best flexibility for achieving splits and great kicks like:
- Brazilian Kick(Glaube Feitosa)
- Axe Kick(Andy Hug)
- Spinning Hook Kick(Lechi Kurbanov)

I'm a very long way removed from being an expert, babyface, but I would certainly suggest that repetitive regular practice of the kicks will go a long way to help improve flexibility. Other static stretches (at the end of a session, equal amounts on both sides, hold for at least 30 secs, obvs.) might be the frog stretch, kneeling hip flexor stretch, hamstring stretch while lying down and standing glute stretch. But like I said, I'm not exactly a 'go-to' person for how to improve your kicks!

I found doing a combination of Dynamic Stretching as a warm up a few times a week(Tom Kurz Scientifically Stretching) and then some static stretches as a cool down. One in particular is the tactical frog.

The brazilian kick requires a lot of flexibility in the hip flexors. Ax kick and to a lesser extent the oshiro mawashi geri require flexibility in the hamstrings and hip flexors. I'm sure you can find various exercises on the interwebz to achieve your goal.

X2 on the stretching scientifically! Thomas Kurz was the first we based stretching resource I turned to. I think he has a Kyokushin background. The Elastic Steel dude. Is pretty good too. Personally, I believe supporting your weight throughout the stretching process (standing, not sitting) is the best method because it develops strength(through isometrics) as well as flexibility. Good luck!
