4/13/2015 OS Resets S&S Warm Up 32kf & 24kg Swings @32kg 10L,10R x5 minimal rest between sets (10-15 seconds) Rest for 3 minutes and worked on Ryu Sui kata TGU’s @32kg to start 1L,1R,1L,1R, Then to the 24kg for RTGU x3 more per side alternating for 10 total Shinkyoku breathing and then farmers walk to the bells back inside the house.
Swings are feeling good at 32kg. Get ups are still a work in progress...

4/14/2015 Extra Groggy today. OS Resets Lots of Rolling/Hard Rolls Tried a lying leg raise that Alex Salken showed on FB. Interesting. I think I prefer the dead bugs Worked on Enshin Kata. First I did Ryu Sui 2 times slow and by the numbers. Then I did all 7 in a row. Then Ryu Sui again one more time. Shinkyoku Breathing Felt a lot better after doing some kata and quite alert.

4/15/2015 Short on time today due to Mr Baby keeping me up I hit snooze a few times.. OS RESETS S&S Warm Up Using the MMA prep idea from the Strong First Blog.. www.strongfirst.com/preparing-a-mma-fighter/10x10 One Arm Swings @24kg 6x10 One Arm Push Press @24kg (after round 5 on the push presses I started to lose steam. better to quit while on high power than to rely on slow twitch) Shinkyoku Breathing. Whoooo that was a gasser! Good stuff. Might try that with the 32kg in a 10 sets of 5 reps scheme.

4/17/2015 OS Resets S&S Warm up 24kg today 10x10 Swings with breathing between sets 10 RTGU’s going from C&P alternating sides between reps. Walking for a cool down. Shoulders are bit sore from the Push Presses the other day. Love it.

We did a double black belt grading today. Our first female Shodan since I have been here and her husband graded to Nidan. :-)

4/20/2015 OS Resets S&S Warm Up 24kg today 10x10 One Arm- Nice power and felt form was really good. Blew through these RTGU x5 each side alt - Still going a bit slow on these Shinkyoku Breathing

4/22/2015 OS Resets S&S Warm Up 24kg today.(was gonna do 32kg but forearms felt sore.) 10x10 One Arm Swings. Really feeling dialed in to these now. Crazy 8’s - 8x8 Push Press alt sides each round Walking and Shinkyoku breathing for a cool down.

Yeah 32kg is coming along great.
4/27/2015 OS Resets S&S Warm Up 24kg today 10x10 swings like butta today. Easy and power. Feels very snatchable if you get the lift.. RTGU x5 each side alternating starting with a C&P So as a light day the 24kg is pretty light. I may now do all swings with the 32kg and still do 1 day a week of RTGU,1 day Push Press and 1 day Heavy TGU. This may change as I get closer to the certification in November.

4/28/2015 OS Resets Rolls Enshin Kata practice Ryu Sui x2 slow Kata 1-7 normal speed Ryu Sui x1 again fast Some Heavy Bag work (5 minutes or so)- Just worked on movement and striking power. Shinkyoku breathing. Dojo tonight.
