Had a browse through Wullies photos and it looked like a great tourney. Still gutted to have missed it, would have been great to watch my Sensei fighting!

A great way to spend a weekend! Drive to the other end of the world (believe me about half way home it felt it!), make some new friend, meet up with some old ones and see some great fights, great Spirit especially between the hours of 7pm-5am LOl, not sensible at all but fun all the same

it was good to see you again Alan, we got asked to leave the bar at 4am, but the barmen/night porter guys very kindly gave us a big bowl of chips (fries) before they kicked us out

Good to see you Alan
When I heard the week you'd got planned I was tempted to ring the wife and say, "The car's broke. Waiting for the part. See you in a few days"
Glad to hear you had a great time. I agree, Scotland's a great place to visit. Thanks to Iain and Wullie for making us welcome.

Okay guys... 2012 is sorted, same venue as this years, The Jack Kane Centre, Edinburgh. Saturday 28th January at 11am
The Cameron Toll Travel Lodge is about the nearest hotel and although some lucky buggers got it for £12, it cost me £25... still not a bad price... book soon!

Was hoping to fight in this, but been struggling with a hip strain injury since July. Really not looking likely now, been back to docs and he referred me for phsyio. At the moment i just can't train hard enough, i've been prepping for my first kyu grading which is next Sunday and i'm not sure it's going to last through that

Osu!
Walshy.
Sounds good. It may not be a bad idea to back off for just a bit and heal. I am not saying to stop training but work around your injury for a bit.
I am sure you will pass your grading.
Osu!
