You basically use the Chudan soto nagashi Sabaki style from the outside to deflect a blow and immediately turn it into an uraken to stun them.

Errands today and I did a heavy dose of hip flexor stretches last night so they are sore. My right one has gotten really tight lately(too much chair sitting? Not sure).

10/27/2014 OS Resets Goblet Squat x5 @24kg 5 x Clean to Press x3 each side @24kg and FSQ x1 @24kg In between sets was combos on the bag total 15 Presses each side and 20 FSQ Farmers Walks x2 with 2x24kg x the whole perimeter twice. Those were tougher than I thought but good. Shinkyoku Breathing

Mr Baby did not sleep well last night so I did not sleep that great. Saving energy for the dojo so I just did OS resets,stretching,foam roller.

10/29/2014 Killer night at the dojo last night-Kihon was done at lightning speed and then we did various applications and throws. Good times!! So I am gonna test it Friday and if it works well I am going back to KB Strong for the next 8 weeks. This time not the split with the ONE program. Just the STRONG portion which will be 8 weeks of DBL Clean and Press 3x a week with a pair of 24kg KB's.

10/31/2014 OS Resets TGU x2 each side @24kg Goblet Squat x5 @24kg DCP- 10x1 @2x24kg DSW- 2x10 @2 x24kg Farmer Walk x2 @2x24kg Hip Flexor Stretch May not be ready for prime time on the Double Clean and Press. I might incorporate some shorter Double Swing sets while doing singe 24kg press to get the glutes back up to snuff. Good test though. I can press the 2x24 no problem but the cleans felt sloppy and that could be from not enough glute/hip power.
