I am restructuring my training and hope to get some input
Mon-Skills/Conditioning Tues-Strength AM-Dojo Early Eve Wed-Skills/Conditioning Thurs-Strength AM- Dojo Early Eve Fri-Conditioning Sat-Dojo SUN-rest
Similar to what I did about 6 months ago and I tested this last week and it felt better overall.

Strength day. 5x5 Bench Press 180lbs 5x5 Bent Over Row Single arm each side 50lbs 5x5 Kneeling Ab Wheel Roll outs. 5 Sweaty,7 rubbery.

Had a great time at the dojo last night. Nice and sweaty and stayed after and worked on some kata and heavy bag.
Today
Seven 2 min rounds with 20 sec rests
3x Heavybag 4x Double End Bag
Finally feel like I am getting the hang of the DEB as I can move around and really control it now.

When you use the DEB, are you also slipping and rolling as in boxing?

Yeah Meguro.
I practice slip and weave and then also use Sabaki movements.
So far it seems to be really helping with the footwork. Trying to be able to get in and out fast.

A bit sore today so I did not want to push the heavy weight. Today TEN 2 min rds with 20 sec rest. 1-Shadowboxing Warmup 2-Jump Rope 3-DEB 4-Heavy Bag 5-Jump Rope 6-DEB 7-Heavy Bag 8-Jump Rope 9-DEB 10-Heavy Bag 10 Sweaty,8 rubbery. I had to go to the hardware store yesterday as my swivel broke! Found a new one that was rated for 1700lbs. That should hold up..

Got started with my workout but then my work called with an emergency so had to cut it short. 2x5 Chin Ups 2x10 Feet Elevated on Chair Seiken Push Ups 2x5 Dips

50 Burpee's 6:40 (uhh yeah. Sucky.) 5 one minute rounds on the heavy bag with 20 sec rests between. Burpees for some reason were hard today. Heavy bag was fine. Gah.

Strength day.
5x5 Chin Ups 5x5 Bench Press (dropped to 175 to go a bit more explosive. A test if you will)
Felt good and strong. I can feel my lats cursing so I bet tomorrow will be interesting.

Burpees for some reason were hard today. Heavy bag was fine. You say that as if you sometimes find them easy! ;D

Felt like crap today so I skipped. I would rather be able to go at 110% then at 50%. Glute still sore too. I think I actually triggered that with some dojo antics on Saturday.. Gah.
