The story about the journey of a scottish lad from promising student to all out mentalist!

Tee hee hee, there were several points where Ros went... "What did he just say?" And I had to answer..... "No Idea"

Just got back from watching the last Harry Potter film. Very action packed and the 2 hrs 10 mins flew past. I'm happy that I will never have to watch another Potter film ever ;D
We are going to watch "Exit through the gift shop" tonight, a documentary on the artist "Banksy".

Yeah we all went to Harry Potter 7 pt 2 on Sunday. Great film and a good ending to the saga(I did not read the books..my wife did though.)
My favorite thing is that Harry Potter stayed the hero through out. He did not succumb to the easy way out even when he had to face his own destiny. Good message to kids there.

The reviews weren't promising, but the premise was too intriguing to pass up. Just saw Cowboys and Aliens with the kids and enjoyed it. Daniel Craig plays the Eastwoodesque, man with no name and Harrison Ford gets a new hat. Apart from the juxtaposition of Western and Sci-fi tropes, the movie follows a simple formula for summer-time entertainment and works.

I saw Cowboys and Aliens.
It is a silly premise but it was a good movie that had great characters and a fun story.
Looking forward to Conan the Barbarian coming to the US Theatres this August!

Monty and I watched The Proposition at the weekend. It's an Australian Western written by Nick Cave. Very good.

Isn't it funny, things you despised as a kid, you now like as an adult? Take for instance, the taste of coffee, as a kid, *barf*! Watch a documentary when I was a kid?! I would have rather have gotten whipped by my Dad's belt for a minute or two instead!
With all of that being said, barely a day goes by that I don't start my morning with a cup or 2 of coffee..and if I don't, I'll remain a zombie for a good while! One of the best movies I have ever seen is a documentary called 180 degrees South, if you just give it a try I'd be surprised if you don't like it! I'm by no means a surfer, or much of a mountain climber (I have done it a few times) but I can only imagine what it would be like to travel to another country, culture, way of life not sure what the next moment will bring you. For any of you that have netflix, this is available to stream.
Osu!

Ros and I watched "Hobo with a shotgun" last night. Rutger Hauer plays a vigilante Hobo Real gore-fest Very reminiscent of 80's horror films (if you liked Brain Dead you'll love this) Really enjoyed it, very funny as well.
