Good job on the move up Gary. Kettlebells at Aldi? Interesting. They just opened up in our area and taking advantage of the prices on some of their products.

That is pretty awesome Gary. I hope one day my kids will want to do the same. My daughter(28 months) already likes to try to do pull ups.

But as long as they weigh what they say they could be ok. I doubt they'll be on it for long before moving up again so it's pointless buying expensive ones. Gary

Great session with middle one. He's glowing with pride and getting stronger and more technical. Picked for a PE squad at school with guest coaches and wants to be a PE teacher. Good lad. Me - every set with 20kg with good form. Start adding in the odd 24kg set from next session. If it kills me at least I'll be doing something I enjoy ... Gary

Another jump up. Very nice and only after a few weeks at 20kg. You'll be double pressing the 32kg kettlebells again. Progress is a monster.

LOL I wish.
I'm not suicidal. This comes under the category of sensible choices:
Stupid - Short life
Scared - Long boring life
Sensible - Good life
32's (for me) will be stupid.

50% of very strong is strong. What we call sensible, mere mortals call for help.

Sensible is good. It is the opposite of sagging trousers, mullets, and other excesses.

Sensible is good. It is the opposite of sagging trousers, mullets, and other excesses. Need to be around for the boys far more than a pb. As a former exercise addict I thought I'd really miss pushing myself 100%. Evidence of mortality makes everyone take a reality check. I see all these 'motivational' posts on fb and such now and wonder if everyone posting them has lost the plot. Train smart. Don't just wipe yourself out. Gary

S & S All sets with 20 and all seemed easy. Time to start with 24.

Good news at last! One year (almost) after a 'substantial' clot I'm now signed off by the DVT specialist. Already signed off by the cardiologist. Still on warfarin but I can ease down the wearing of those blasted compression socks. Everything seems to be going in the right direction. Gary
