What style is that Monty? Stout? Double Bock? Can't be a lager at 14%.

Wow still pretty high for a lager. I will have to research that one.

Scored a bottle of the STONE Ruinten Double IPA. 10.8%. Very good flavor and it hides the ABV too well. I drank the 22oz bottle in a matter of hours and had a silly grin on my face. Slept great.

Went to Ikea to pick up a dresser and saw that Ikea was selling it's own brand of lager. Had to try the Ikea beer.

Had a Japanese beer last night made from rice. A nice 500ml bottle. It was good I liked this beer very much. Koshihikari echigo beer a little expensive outside of Japan but was really nice treat. When I go to japan at the end of the year I am sure to be buying a few of these beers. www.worldbeerawards.com/beer/koshihikari_echigo_beer-5471.html

He takes his returns into the store, goes to the food kiosk, buys a beer and drinks it while he is standing in the queue for customer services :-)

Nobody goes to IKEA just for the meatballs and beer.

Hehe. Yeah I can do pretty much any style except the SOURs. Can't do those. I like IPA's,Porters,Stouts,Ales,Red Ales,Etc. Not a big fan of Witbeir but it is growing on me.

Just had a Minoo beer. Its a IPA was not to bad. Minoo is the suburb next to my wife's in Osaka, so its not a big company beer.
On other news they are reporting that Suntory is putting in a bid to buy Jim Beam. If bought this would make Suntory the third biggest sprit distiller in the world.
