Been trying some new and having old favorites. Sam Adams has a new Rebel IPA. Pretty good. Looking forward to the Sierra Nevada mix IPA Pack coming in March and of course on St Patricks day I will have a couple cans of Murphys Irish Stout.

I don't drink as much as I would like too for the same reason. I maybe have 5-6 beers in a weekend. That's about it for a week.

In the USA today we celebrate St Patrick's day with Irish-American food and beer. I am a Moran so I have to partake. Beer for tonight will be MURPHY's Irish Stout. It is very similar to Guinness Draught but without the High Fructose Corn Syrup that the new corporate owned Guinness has in it.(in the USA anyway..)

Had a rice beer that I picked up from Awajishima on the weekend. Wasn't bad. Didn't have the strong beer taste to it. I do prefer the other rice beer that I have been buying whilst in Japan.

Went to Ise in Mie yesterday and picked up three beers to try. Already tried one of them at the restaurant last night. Sinto beer was nice like a pale ale. Don't usually go pale ales but I liked this one.

Got a case of FIRESTONE last month. It had the Union Jack IPA, DBA Ale,Pivo Pilsner and the 31 Pale Ale. All pretty good stuff. Also had a Green Flash Imperial IPA(22oz) (9.9% ABV) that was a sleeper beer.

The comic that advertises my favourite Bombardier Bitter has just died at 56.
RIP Rik Mayall. I'll raise a glass to you tonight.

Yeah I saw that the other day. He was a funny guy. Not as popular in the USA. He was only known here for his movie Drop Dead Fred. I loved him in The Young Ones.
