10-16-15 -34 kgs, single arm pp, 10*6 -ATFLBR 20, s2s pull-ups
10-18-15 -goblet squat, 34 kgs, 5x20 -34 kgs, single arm c&pp, 3x8 -20 v sit pull-ups, s2sholds
10-19-15 -kb swing, 32kgs, 100 -straight arm isometrics with the wheels
Buying a 32kgs kb is not in my future, so a tied on 8kgs to my 24 and swung away. The arrangement was not ideal as the extra weight disturbed the balance of the kb. Still, I preferred the thick handle of the kb to my slightly heavier db. At the dojo I was corrected for not putting enough umph in my air punching. I'll try to be a team player, but I'd rather it things, not be mean to air.

Stacked KB is okay and somewhat instructive in pressing but not so much for ballistics. Everyone needs a 32kg. It's good for you!

One of these days.
So I've been C&PPing the 34kgs db on a one day on one day off plan. I'll start with goblet squats (4x25) as a warm-up, then alternating C&PP. I focus on holding the db over head for a beat and then lowering slowly. This is usually followed by pull-ups of some sort (Vsit or side to side). When I loaded the db to 34 kgs, I started with 24 reps and gradually worked up to 44. Predictably, the weak side fatigues sooner. Other exercises in the mix include headstands, neck bridges, teki and straddle stretches.

I had it in my head to double up on the 34 kgs db, so that's what I did today. First with some db dl's to warm up, 5x10. Second, some db cleans, just 10. The wrist with the torn meniscus started to balk so I backed away and called it a day.

Yeah I feel you on that. It was very hot and humid this past summer here and I tore multiple times. Even with CHALK!! I finally have my KB Clean technique down where they are not tearing anymore. Gonna ramp up the snatches again starting next month.

Yup, I ended up with little girl hands after leaving the kb alone for a while. I thought that all the heavy breathing from the db work was good enough cardio, but nah, lost my grip and my wind. Some swings and snatches ought to sort it out.
11-5-15 -dips, 16 kgs, 4x5 -db pp, 34 kgs, 2x5x5 -kb swings, 24 kgs, 4x50

Forgot to log some workout. I remember the last two.
11-9-15 -kb swings, 4x50, 24 kgs -single db pp 2x3x5, 34 kgs
11-11-15 -goblet squat, 34 kgs, 2x25 -single db pp, 2x4x5 34 kgs -ATFLBR, 21 -pull-ups, 16kgs, 4x7 -dips, 16 kgs, 4x7
I've avoided the db cleans since feeling a little twinge in the knee on a jump. Have you married guys found your wedding band getting tight?

I also take mine off for training, then I forget to put it back on. By the time I've remembered It's nearly time to train again so I don't bother putting it back on. Think I might just get a wedding band tattooed on

Yeah I like Monty's idea.
I take mine off for training and put it on my keyring. In the summer my fingers swell a bit and sometimes it is tougher to take off but usually no it just comes off.

I do remove my wedding band when training. (I once saw a picture of a finger minus the flesh because of a ring getting caught on something. It makes the tatoo idea sound very good.) I thought to ask you guys because within the year I replaced the original wedding band, which had gotten too small, with a larger one. This too is getting small. It's strange because my workouts haven't changed all that much. I even dropped some grip intensive exercises like kb snatches for a while, and still, tight wedding band. Old age? Bad kidneys?
11-12-15 -goblet squat, 34 kgs, 50 -kb snatches, 24 kgs, 120
I added 2 reps per set, so 10x12 snatches.

Nice man. Snatches will be back after I visit my trainer and make sure we got the form nailed this Saturday.
